I'm excited to do this writeup about Champagne Honeybee because she's a fellow ukulele player which automatically makes her awesome. When she originally signed up on GigTown, I watched her video for her song "Garlic Press" and it immediately made me smile. Perhaps simply because she's playing the uke beautifully (and the ukulele just makes you happy, right??), but also because of her clever lyrics and silky smooth voice. But then I listened to the song, and it's actually sad! Turns out, Champagne Honeybee is a ukulele player who writes songs about heartbreak (and so much more).
