SXSW was absolutely insane. We spent 6 straight days rocking, rolling and chatting with a bunch of rad musicians from all over the world. Oh, and we also enjoyed a few adult beverages. We even had the GigTown Dev team with us! You know what... I'm just going to stop writing and post the dang recap video, it explains it all. Thanks Austin; you rule as always.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Lee Coulter. I realize that’s a super creepy introductory sentence,
but I’m just going to stick with it.

Eyes on the Shore
“Roads to Nowhere” (from A Golden Blue, released independently, Jan. 2015)
A five piece band hailing from the Golden State, Eyes on the Shore is presents with much more musical composure than their unsigned status would have one believe. One EP, full length, a new single into their life as a group, Eyes on the Shore don't let their lack of any particular classic status markers stop them from busting out and laying down some classic rock riffs that could compete with the best of the highly marketed mainstreamers currently out there.
We're taking GigTown's built in radio for a first time, roulette-style spin and singer-songwriter Dawn Mitschele was the first artist to cue up!
READ MORE Read LaterGigTown is a source for local musicians to be exposed. Simple as that, yet it's never been done before. In our efforts to expand our purpose, we're constantly adding more music-centric cities to the family. We've recently welcomed two of Americas finest cities to our roster: Seattle, Washington and Austin, Texas. To give our fans a taste of what new GigTown regions bring, we're reviewing a couple artists from both hot spots, and throwing some reviews in the ring of local artists out of San Diego, GigTown's stomping grounds. If you love what you hear, remember, you can always use the GigTown app to find where any of these artists are playing live next!
